Ihunmehai ‘Ihums’ Isaac

Ihunmehai ‘Ihums’ Isaac is a Nigerian-born, New York-based multidisciplinary creator whose work spans the worlds of storytelling, editing, and cultural empowerment. With a unique voice rooted in both West African and diasporic experiences, she uses film, media, and education to reimagine how stories by and for underrepresented communities are told.

Ihums has worked on award-winning documentaries, including TikTok, Boom, and recently, Oscar shortlisted Union. She was recently part of a prestigious Netflix x Industry Standard Fellowship, a program dedicated to empowering rising talent in film and television, where she was sharpening her skills in the editorial track.

With a Master’s degree in media management from The New School in New York, Ihum’s expertise spans creative producing, video editing, and digital strategy. She has contributed to projects with BBC Studios, Radical Media, Netflix and Dakoit Pictures, often serving as the connective tissue between story and audience, working in the capacity of Editor, Assistant Editor and Content Strategy

Beyond her production credits, Ihums is the founder of the Only Girl Foundation, a nonprofit initiative aimed at empowering Black women through digital literacy, creative entrepreneurship, and community-driven learning.

From Benin to Lagos to New York, Ihums career has been a testament to resilience, vision, and the radical power of authenticity. Whether she’s editing a documentary, mentoring aspiring storytellers, or speaking to global audiences, her mission is clear: to create work that not only informs and inspires.

In addition to her creative work, Ihums is a passionate educator. She has served as a guest lecturer in media studies courses for several semesters at the New School, New York where she teaches post-production workflows and management with a clarity and depth that consistently surpasses expectations. Her lectures are valued not only for their practical insight but for the mentorship and real-world context she brings to the classroom.

Shelley Vidal

Shelley-Anne Vidal is an Inclusive Leadership & Fertility Coach, Facilitator, founder of ACT by Vidal and the visionary behind Phenomenal Black Women Networking & Social. With over 15 years of experience in leadership, coaching, and community-building, she partners with mid to senior-level leaders who are ready to transform their organizations into inclusive, equitable spaces. Shelley is a certified executive coach and college instructor known for her bold, compassionate, and direct approach, helping leaders shift from performative actions to transformative leadership.
Driven by curiosity, kindness, and lifelong learning, Shelley continually explores intercultural leadership, social justice, anti-racism, and community engagement. Her passion for connection and equity led her to create ACT by Vidal, where she brings people together, amplifies underrepresented voices, and strengthens collective impact.

Shelley is also a dynamic speaker and bestselling author of You Only Need One Good Egg: Manifesting a Miracle, a personal memoir on fertility, hope, and perseverance. As a mother to a young toddler, she brings empathy, depth, and real-life perspective to all she does.

Eseosa (Sosa) Eweka

Eseosa (Sosa) Eweka-Valentine is a passionate advocate, cultural curator, nurse and community builder committed to empowering the next generation and preserving the richness of African heritage. She is the founder of Talks with Sosa, a dynamic public speaking platform that brings experts together to spark dialogue on vital issues—from social justice to mental health—through an inclusive and youth-focused lens.

Sosa is also the founder of Salt City Advocacy Society, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of refugees and new immigrants, particularly women and children of African descent. Through mentorship, education, and community-led programming, she has championed culturally grounded support systems that uplift and inspire.
